  • Course Description

    Millions of people worldwide have been forced from their homes by various reasons seeking safety in another country, and many refugees have to endure protracted refugee situations. The course addresses international refugee law, humanitarian structures, sectors and approach to protect refugees as well as their diverse challenges they face in emergency and protracted situations. Thus, based on global refugee policies, local refugee protection measures are elaborated on with specific attention to gender-related risks and humanitarian aid as well as medium-term design of aid through a development orientation.
